Beijing Olympics 2008 -  ”This is my Trophy”

Back in 1992 a triumphant man just won the men’s natural 242 pound class at the world powerlifting competition. When all of the reporters arrived to interview and photograph him they said “raise your trophy so we can photograph you”.

Kenny, my brother in law, calmly replied as he handed the trophy to my sister Darlene and placed his infant son in the palm of his hand. In a moment of Uncommon Valor as a Man  - Kenny raised this vibrant Son over his head and said to the global press “This is my Trophy”.

11 years later that infant son named Kyle shattered the world record for his age group in powerlifting. He did it by an incredible 45 additional pounds! His younger brother Travis, Didn’t do as well. He shattered the world record in his age group by 75 pounds!!! What is even more incredibly phenomenal - that was for only One lift - the Dead Lift ~

Both of them were under 13 years of age.. This was a “Keystone in defining moments” for both brothers who are now pursuing sports and college passions.

Children like these will honor their respective countries for the next several weeks at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing China. Today was the final day of the great torch relay ceremonies ending a global journey beginning in Greece. This symbolic Olympic torch was proudly carried by 433 supremely honored torchbearers.

The sacred Olympic flame ended it’s revered path to the hands of Vice President of the Chinese Olympic committee, Li Furong. The majestic Olympic torch cauldron at the historic Temple of Heaven was lit.

Since the days of ancient Athens and stories of glorious Greek champions, the Olympics have been a standard of both peace and pursuance of momentary perfection. This global legacy of athletic tradition has also become to many - a springboard to a rewarding career in professional sports.

It also has continued to shape and transform the lives of children, teenagers and adults globally. Remember Nadia Comaneci or Katerina Vit? how about sugar Ray Leonard or George Foreman? Willie Gault of the Chicago Bears? and then there is the “Dream-Team of 1992. Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Clyde the glide Drexler, Sir Charles Barkley and a immortal bench that personified a pristine moment in Olympic Basketball.

Fast forwarding to today and the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The 2008 Beijing Olympics has (had) one vulnerability however. Most of the Olympic venues are held outdoors in open stadiums. This strategy by the Olympic Committee has left them open to both a tropical storm and a cyclone. The cyclone is presently threatening Hong Kong. That tropical storm is confronting mainland China.

Reason why I said “Had” a vulnerability? My global “Save a Dream-Team” has already started to save the day. This team on six continents has unified global storm dissipation powers to provide a milder weather forecast for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Have you ever had a day in which you were the founder of a global Dream-Team on six continents. This “Save a Dream-Team” already successfully dissipated a former hurricane threat. And That was before 5:00 PM Today?

Yes - We continued to dissipate Tropical Storm Edouard to a point where all official Hurricane and Tropical Storm Warnings were Fully Retracted. This was reported by the Weather Team at the Weather Channel before 5:00 PM EDT.

AND personally gave the 2008 Beijing Olympics the driest weather in all of China for this weekend.

And then I read that some so called weather modification expert in China says that the weather cannot be improved for the weekend.

And there is thousands of kids on that Olympic ceremonial field on Friday this weekend.
